Community Coach Award
The purpose of this course is to allow learners to develop knowledge and skills they will use to independently plan, deliver, and review coaching sessions. Learners will be able to describe their motivations and aspirations as a coach, develop their ability to identify the needs of all participants, and prepare safe coaching environments.
The course is suitable for learners who have an active interest in netball and coaching.
Learners must be at least 16 years old on completion of this course. Entry is at the discretion of Netball Scotland. Learners should have an active interest in netball and some experience of assisting at coaching sessions. (University Students, Teachers, or Learners that hold a Level 1 coaching certificate or equivalent qualification can apply for this course).

Online Sessions:
Session 1 – Sunday 10th March 2024 - 7 – 9.30pm
Session 2 - Monday 11th March 2024 - 7 – 9.30pm
Session 3 – Thursday 18th April 2024 - 7 – 9.30pm
Session 4 – Sunday 21st April 2024 - 7 – 9.30pm
Practical Session:
Saturday 27th April 2024 - Beath High School, Foulford Road, Cowdenbeath, KY4 9BH - 9.30am - 4.30pm
All sessions must be attended.
