ALL THINGS UMPIRING ...

The fixtures have been updated and the senior fixtures sometimes now have 3 matches in one night. The junior fixtures are also on the spreadsheet under a separate tab. This includes the new U17 fixtures which are now being held on a Tuesday evening at Beath High.

 

Senior Fixtures

 

3 games in one night is very tight therefore if you are umpiring please ensure the nail checks etc are done asap - teams can warm up in the small hall therefore if you can do them in there, that would be ideal. 

 

Captains - please ensure the coin toss is done asap the umpire does not need to be present but please inform them.

 

Scorers & Timekeepers- please be ready with score sheet and stop watch (not phone) in advance of the start time. If you are a sub this may mean missing the pre match huddle.

 

Junior Fixtures

 

U17's matches will now be played at Beath High on a Tuesday evening CP 6;30pm. As we now have many trainees requiring as much practice as possible we will be using the U15's & U17's matches to give the trainees the practice they need. Therefore clubs will no longer be required to source an umpire for the U15's & U17's matches as we will allocate the slots to trainees.

 

Trainee Umpires

 

If you would like to umpire any of the U15's & U17's matches, please email me at netballfifeumpiring@gmail.com and let me know which dates and times you are available this must be done asap. This applies to all matches from January, therefore if you previously had your name down for a match in January this will now be removed and please contact me to add your name back in. There are currently some umpires that have 2 games in November & December, I may need to allocate one of your slots to another trainee to ensure fairness of allocations. You will be contacted if this is the case. If you do not have your name down for one of these dates but want to then please contact me. I'm also still waiting on some google forms confirming code of conduct you will not be able to umpire until these have been received. (those highlighted in red on the junior tab and umpire tab)
